Not only this, but the lengthy procedure also includes providing fresh bathing water to wash before and after prayers and a taxpayer-funded training programme for several hundred hospital staff so as to ensure that all are familiar with the workings of the Muslim faith! Isnt that just swell?!
Even Saudi Arabia may not have come about with such a logic-defying scheme!!

LOL.The fatwa rulings seem to be creating one hell of a confusion for moslems. According to this article, Cairo's Al-Azhar university fatwa department issues about 1000 edicts a day! What with contradictory and infinitely confusing fatwas and a countless number of them,it would be impossible to compile them all and make a "Fatwas for Dummies" book! Heh!Heh!

He was escorted by Moses through seven heavens into the presence of God. There, at Moses instigation, Muhammad pleaded with God to reduce the number of daily mandatory prayers from fifty to five!
Theoretically a Muslim would have to pray 80 times a day while staying in the space station as it circles the earth 16 times a day.But the guidelines have laid down that the astronaut need only pray five times a day, just as on Earth, and that the times should follow the location where the spacecraft blasted off from - in this case, Baikonur,in Russia.

I wonder which of the two is more pitiable! The ban on women driving in Saudi or the meek deliverance of a request to drive! A sorry state of affairs indeed.
These guys are real phonies. They kick up a huge load of protests and violent acts when the Quran was, supposedly, desecrated in Guantanamo but when it comes to their own dirty acts, they undergo temporary amnesia about the desecration bit and use the holy book for their unlawful ends. According to TheNews, drugs were stashed in cut-out pages of the Quran and smuggled! Way to go,hypocrites!

They have issued frivolous fatwas(fatwa is a religious ruling in Islam, issued by a Supreme Cleric, on a specific issue and is considered necessary in cases where an issue of sharia law is undecided or uncertain)for actions that normal people would not think twice about or make a hue and cry about like polio vaccines or Pokèmon video games! Who but the ever suspicious Islamic fundamentalists,would even think of conspiracy behind such things?
Such fatwas can only be relegated to the universe of the stupid.It badly needs a huge dose of reform.

This Muslim cleric in Sydney,Australia is no advocate of peace! Watch him abuse some comedian whom he assumed to be a journalist. According to the mufti, women who dont wear the islamic headdress are like uncovered meat(sic!)
The Outspoken Muslim leader has stood down as Australia's Mufti. He declined to accept another term in the top Islamic post,which he has held since 1988.

Friday,according to the Moslems is a day of rest. However, traditionally, Friday was a day of congregating for prayer, not a day of rest! The whole idea of Friday as Sabbath is alien to the vehemently monotheistic spirit of Islam, bringing into play the notion of God needing a day of rest. The Quran instructs Moslems to "leave off business" only while praying; once finished, they should "disperse through the land and seek God's bounty"- in other words,engage in commerce. In the olden days, Moslems were discouraged to take Fridays off and were asked to work, save only for interruptions during prayer and community service.
In modern times, by keeping Friday as a day of rest, Muslim States are mirroring the Judeo-Christian practices by adopting the weekly day of rest. Jews observe Saturday as their Shabbat and the Christians and by association, the European calendar, denotes Sunday as a rest day.
